Building Relationships Through Our Buddy Program
The Bimbadeen Buddies Program pairs each Foundation student with a Year 6 ‘Buddy’ to help them navigate their first year of primary school. Year 6 students look forward to spending time with their young buddies, engaging in activities such as lunch, crafts, or reading together. This program helps Foundation students feel welcomed and supported, fostering friendships that make the transition into school a positive experience. The pairing of buddies is carefully considered to ensure that children’s individual needs are met.

For learning to take place we need to ensure that every child feels safe, happy and confident within themselves - and so a huge emphasis is placed on a strong wellbeing and support program that achieves just that!
