Student Voice and Agency

Student voice and agency are all about empowering students to take an active role in their education. According to the Department of Education student voice means giving students opportunities to express their ideas, opinions, and perspectives in meaningful ways. Agency goes a step further—it’s about students having the ability to make decisions and take action in their learning.

When schools embrace student voice and agency, students feel heard, valued, and engaged. They become co-creators of their learning experience rather than passive participants. We used evidence based strategies to foster environments where students can collaborate, lead, and take ownership of their education. This approach not only improves student outcomes but also builds confidence and school pride here at Bimbadeen Heights.
