Smooth Transitions
Supporting students through important transitions is another key focus at Bimbadeen. Our structured transition programs include multiple visits, handover meetings, and collaborative planning with other schools to ensure a seamless transition from preschool to primary and from primary to secondary school. Year after year, our Foundation students settle in smoothly, and we consistently receive positive feedback from former students and local secondary schools about our
approach to transition.
Our commitment to smooth transitions also extends to year-level transitions within primary school, as some children may feel anxious about moving up. Each Term 4, teachers discuss the transition to the next year level, involve families in class placements, and conduct orientation sessions with new classmates and teachers. Additional transition activities are offered to support students with special needs.
